Nielsen has hired DAVID FAULKNOR as Senior VP/Product Management as it looks to strengthen its sports group efforts. Faulknor will lead efforts to unify the global Nielsen Sports and Gracenote Sports product teams and build a single data and insights organization. Faulknor joins Nielsen from NBCUniversal, where he worked on digital execution around NBC Sports, the Olympics and Rotoworld. The four-time Emmy winner worked on the Beijing, Vancouver, London, Sochi, Rio and Pyeongchang Games (Austin Karp, THE DAILY).

EXECS: WWE named former Moda Operandi CFO KRISTINA SALEN to the same position. She will begin in her role on Aug. 3 and report directly to WWE Chair & CEO VINCE MCMAHON (WWE)....The Nuggets promoted Assistant GM CALVIN BOOTH to GM (DENVER POST, 7/8)....The Pistons named Bucks Dir of Basketball Strategy DAVID MINCBERG Assistant GM. A source said that Mincberg's hire is the "first of several the Pistons will make to round out" new GM TROY WEAVER's staff (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 7/8)....The Big West Conference named former Univ. of Hawaii AD BEN JAY CFO (HONOLULU STAR-ADVERTISER, 7/8)....Australia-based sports betting operator PlayUp named former Sportradar Deputy President DR. LAILA MINTAS CEO of its U.S. operations. Mintas was named an SBJ Power Player in '19 (THE DAILY).
